Gwen Stefani was the popular lead singer for the band No Doubt before going solo in 2004. The band, founded by Gwen's older brother Eric Stefani, made its name in 1995 with the hit album Tragic Kingdom, a heady mixture of rock, speedy reggae and playful pop hooks. The album also made a star of Stefani, who combined a belter's voice with brash blonde good looks and a dependably bare midriff. Stefani married Gavin Rossdale, guitarist for the band Bush, in 2002. Their have two sons: Kingston James McGregor Rossdale (b. 2006) and Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale (b. 2008)... Early in her career, Stefani was known for wearing stick-on pottu dots, the jewel-like Hindi forehead decoration. Christina Maria Aguilera was on born December 18, 1980, in Staten Island, New York. She grew up in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Christina Aguilera is a daughter of Fausto Aguilera, is a U.S. Army sergeant of Ecuadorian descent, and Shelly Loraine Fidler also known as Shelly Kearns, is a Spanish translator from Newfoundland, Canada, and of remote Irish descent. She lived with her mother because of her parents divorce.

Christina Maria Aguilera attended Marshall Middle School in Wexford, Pennsylvania. In 1999, she completed her graduation from North Allegheny High School in Wexford, Pennsylvania.

Christina began performing in school talent shows, when she was 6 years old. At the age of eight, she appeared on the nationally syndicated "Star Search". When she was ten years old, she sang the National Anthem for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
